Unitus Ventures is one of India’s leading early-stage venture funds. The marketing team at Unitus Ventures is looking for a stellar Communications Associate to support both domestic and global communications initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Learn about and stay abreast of developments with our diverse global portfolio of early-growth “soonicorns” – startups on the way to being unicorns.
- Identify relevant story opportunities in various leading publications – national and international.
- Lead content development in social media and newsletters.
- Support content development of press releases, articles, stories.
- Coordinate with global business leaders, portfolio fund managers, and companies for PR opportunities.
- Track relevant social media and profiles in industry and category leaders across India, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
- Use social media platforms like Linkedin and Twitter to engage, develop and maintain relations with media and industry influencers.
Skills and qualities
- You ‘READ’ and are in tune with current affairs in India and throughout the 15 rising tech-hubs of the Global South (LatAm, Africa, India, SE Asia)
- You excel in creative thinking, writing (global English standards). A background in or relevant job experience in mass communication/journalism is an added edge.
- You have a minimum 2 years of experience in PR / content development. Social media experience is a bigplus.
- You are a team player, responsible and fun to work with.
